Dance classes for students with disabilities
The Superstars of Point class offered is for students with Down Syndrome, Autism and other developmental disabilities. This program is a great way for children with special needs to get involved in an extracurricular activity while improving motor skills, confidence, and socialization.
Helping to increase motor development
The class teaches music appreciation, rhythm and basic dance steps. Students work on physical stamina, verbalization skills, following directions and
coordinated interaction — skills that can be a challenge for children with disabilities

When are classes? Currently there are 2 classes available on Saturday. First class is 10:00am- 11am, the second class is 11am - 11:45am. On Wednesday we now have a Sensory class from 7:30pm to 8pm. We hope to have more classes in the future with different genres of dance to support our Superstars of Springfield.

How much are classes? Classes are on a sliding scale. Superstars of Springfield is a nonprofit organization.
